At Talalla Retreat, caring for the Earth is part of daily life. Our organic garden supports fresh, nourishing meals, and our beach is part of the Blue Flag Project for cleaner coastlines. With local partners, we’ve placed 20 eco bins along the shore and we proudly host our own turtle hatchery, protecting eggs and guiding hatchlings safely to the ocean.

We invite you to join us at Talalla Retreat: a purpose-built retreat center located on a picturesque quiet beach on the southern coast of Sri Lanka. Step away from the everyday and into a paradise untouched by mass tourism and visited only by local fishermen on their daily routes.

Our peaceful 8.5 acre retreat haven features five fully equipped custom-built yoga shalas, a 20-meter freshwater pool, a full-service Ayurvedic spa, and a brand-new ocean-view bath house with three saunas, a magnesium warm pool, a cold plunge, and an infrared light therapy room. The main dinning area offers a gourmet open-air restaurant, with panoramic views of the jungle and beach serving delicious and healthy meals sourced from local ingredients and our onsite gardens.

Our retreat center caters to all guest needs with a variety of accommodations, including garden-view rooms, beachfront bungalows, and ocean-view rooms. Every room features comfortable amenities and unique ensuite outdoor bathrooms for a relaxing and restorative stay.
