RetreatHub offers this website, including all information, tools and services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies and notices stated here.

The privacy policy explains what personal information we collect when you use the Retreathub.com website, and how we use your data. All data is kept on secure servers to be compliant with the GDPR. This site is protected by an industry-standard 256-bit SSL encryption.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.

You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any portion of the site content or any contact on the website through which the service is provided, without express written permission by us.

 

 3. USE OF THE PLATFORM AND CONTENT SUBMISSION

RetreatHub is a platform designed to connect retreat organisers with property owners. We offer different opportunities for property owners to advertise their venue and amenities on our platform. For properties new to hosting retreats, the platform also serves as a nice alternative to a designated retreat website.

You must understand that by submitting any information, photo or video content to our site, you grant RetreatHub and the affiliated, co-branded and/or linked website partners through whom we provide service, a nonexclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, transferable, irrevocable and fully sub-licensable right to (a) use, reproduce, modify, adapt, translate, distribute, publish, create derivative works from and publicly display and perform such submissions throughout the world in any media, now known or hereafter devised; and (b) use the name that you submit in connection with such submission.

3.1 Content submission

You are fully responsible for the content of your Submissions. You are prohibited from posting or transmitting to or from this website: (i) any unlawful, threatening, libellous, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, or other material or content that would violate rights of publicity and/or privacy or that would violate any law; and (ii) any material or content that infringes, misappropriates or violates any copyright, trademark, patent right or other proprietary right of any third party. You shall be solely liable for any damages resulting from any violation of the foregoing restrictions, or any other harm resulting from your posting of content to this platform.

3.2 Photo submission

If you submit any photos they must be:

  1. Professional/high quality:

– sharp and colourful, taken in good light
– describe the property interior, exterior and surroundings
– no collages
– no black and white, sepia or other filters that distort the natural colours

  1. On an appropriate topic: All your photos must be relevant to your retreat, location, surrounding area, housing and accommodation, or other closely relevant topics.
  2. Friendly to families and the overall community:
  • No photos should be submitted that are: not legal, vulgar, pornographic, obscene, or offensive/insulting.
  • No photos should be submitted that: are an invasion of privacy of another person or entity, or violate any personal rights.
  1. Original photos: Only photos that you own or own the proper rights to can be submitted. No other photos are allowed to be submitted. Submitting photos from other sources is not allowed. No photos should be submitted that infringe upon any trademark, copyright, or any other right of a third party.
  2. Non-commercial: No photos should be submitted that include any content that’s intended for a commercial purpose. This includes logos, promotional photos, and branding material.

 

4. SUBSCRIPTION FEES

RetreatHub is an advertising platform. Our yearly subscription fees are €199 per year (circa $230 and £175) for a single venue. If you’ve been offered to use this platform for free for a certain period of time – we will aim to give you at least 14 days of notice before the end of your free period. It will be in your full right to decide whether you would want to continue using this platform after the associated fees had been announced. We will not ask for your credit/debit card or any other payment details during the free period.

 

5. DISCLAIMER

Whilst we endeavour to do so ourselves, we also encourage enquirers to check the authenticity of information provided on our website. We reserve the right to exclude or take down any listing that fails to provide accurate information on their listing page.

Therefore, the information contained in this website is for general information purposes only. Whilst we endeavour to keep the information up-to-date and correct, we make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, about the completeness, accuracy, reliability, suitability or availability with respect to the website or the information, products, services, or related graphics contained on the website for any purpose. Any reliance you place on such information is therefore strictly at your own risk.

Every effort is made to keep the website up and running smoothly. However, RetreatHub takes no responsibility for and will not be liable for the website being temporarily unavailable due to technical issues beyond our control.

  2. Loss of income, profit, business, data, contracts, goodwill or savings.

6. CURRENCY CONVERTER

The following terms and conditions apply to any currency conversion or displays on our website: The respective currency rates come from sources that are available to the public, including the European Central Bank and are to be used only as guidelines. These currency rates have not been verified, nor are we promising they are accurate. The actual currency rates may vary. These rates may or may not be updated daily. The information regarding currency rates is believed to be accurate, but Retreat Hub does not guarantee or warrant the accuracy of them.
