Spacious 8x14m seminar room with solid tropical wood floors, 6m high ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the forest and waterfalls. Suitable for up to 17 people for yoga, meditation, group work, ceremonies and dining. Equipped with yoga mats, meditation cushions, wool mats, sheepskins, stereo system, singing bowls, guitar and accordion.

Eco practices

Solar energy provides hot water. Fresh food is sourced partly from neighbouring producers and our own garden, grown without pesticides. We continuously reforest areas previously affected by wildfires and actively protect the land against fire. Wastewater is treated through a biological three-stage purification system.

Description

AyaMira is a secluded retreat venue bordering the Serra do Cipó National Park in Brazil, set within 120 hectares of protected and reforested natural landscape. Located at the end of a quiet dirt road, the property offers exceptional privacy, peace and direct access to the surrounding wilderness. From the property, trails lead into the National Park, where guests can explore waterfalls, natural swimming pools, canyons, meadows, gallery forests and spectacular mountain landscapes.

Accommodation is spread across several buildings, offering a mix of spacious double and single rooms, as well as two small glasshouses with beautiful views over the valley. The venue comfortably accommodates around 15 guests, with capacity for up to 20 depending on room arrangements.

AyaMira has been hosting international seminars and group retreats since 2016 and is available for retreat leaders who wish to rent the entire venue for their own groups. The setting is particularly well suited to yoga, meditation, nature-based retreats, personal development and ceremonies, as well as Ayahuasca retreats focused on reconnecting with nature. High-quality Ayahuasca medicine can be made available to experienced retreat guides upon request.

AyaMira is part of an ongoing environmental project dedicated to protecting and restoring the surrounding landscape. The combination of secluded accommodation, purpose-built seminar spaces and vast untouched nature makes it a unique setting for retreat groups looking for a genuine opportunity to disconnect from everyday life and reconnect with nature.

Bedrooms

The property offers a variety of comfortable and individually designed accommodation options:

• 4 spacious rooms, each with a 2x2m double bed with mosquito net and an additional single bed.
•1 large glasshouse with a double bed
• 1 small glasshouse with a single bed
• 2 traditionally designed rooms: 1 double and 1 twin room.
• 1 extra room (double bed+kitchen) in the owners hous can be rented

Bathrooms

Each room has its own bathroom. Bathrooms are supplied with solar-heated hot water. Two rooms feature unique handcrafted bathtubs made from natural limestone. The property offers a combination of bathroom facilities with showers and bathtubs. Cleaning

Regular cleaning is included. As the property is located in a natural forest environment, guests are kindly asked to request fresh towels and additional cleaning when needed. Brooms are provided in the accommodation for guests who wish to quickly clean the floors themselves between regular cleaning services.

Catering

Catering can be arranged with a local cook, offering authentic Minas Gerais cuisine with international influences. Meals can include both meat and vegetarian options and are tailored to the group's needs and preferences. Depending on seasonal availability, some ingredients are sourced from our own garden and local producers, including coffee, eggs and milk.

Kitchen and Dining room

The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove with 6 burners, an oven and a microwave. The spacious dining area is part of the main communal space and offers seating for the entire retreat group to dine together. The kitchen and dining area are designed for shared use and can be arranged according to the group's needs.

Outdoor

The property is surrounded by 120 hectares of private, protected natural landscape, bordering the nationalpark, offering peace, vastness and direct access to the surrounding endemic ecosystem. All accommodation buildings feature private verandas, outdoor spaces to relax and enjoy the views. An outdoor fireplace creates a welcoming space for gathering and spending time together.

AyaMira is surrounded by abundant, pristine nature, offering hiking, canyons, natural pools, waterfalls and birdwatching, including hummingbirds. The area is exceptionally peaceful and uncrowded, with few or no other people encountered on many trails. A bar serving food is 3 km away; the nearest village for shopping is approximately a 1-hour drive.
