Description

Situated on magical Lake Atitlan which Huxley called "the most beautiful Lake in the world" as it is graced by three (extinct) majestic volcanoes, this area in the Western Highlands of Guatemala has rightly been called 'the Land of Eternal Spring'. The climate is mild, nature is lush and the Mayan people are friendly.

The ashram has a total of 27 beds, including a private casita, a tree house in an old avocado tree, other privates and lovely 4-bed bamboo dorms. There are two practice spaces, Shiva Hall and Santosha Hall, a stone-built steam room, a lounge with fireplace embedded in permaculture gardens with water features.

The ashram hosts yoga teacher trainings, yoga & meditation retreats, workshops and kirtans, the facilities are versatile for most every offering.
