The pole marquee is a large, tall, bright and airy space, (40x60ft), that can be used in many ways. At it's basic it has coir matting, fairy lights, and power sockets. Decorate it how you wish. We have hand built wooden trestle tables, & benches with sheepskins to sit on, available to hire, plus some vintage furniture if needed.
Plus extra covered areas just outside, & hay bale seating for hire.

Eco practices

We are passionate about recycling, and many items around the site are handmade from recycled materials, and/or are secondhand/vintage finds.
We use eco friendly cleaning products.
Never use pesticides or chemicals on the land.
The woodland is managed sustainably, promoting wildlife, and diversity.
We have composting toilets, and solar panels that feed into the grid.

Description

Woodland Tipi and Yurt Holidays is an established glamping site, set up in 2006. It is a unique and magical space for group gatherings and retreats.

Set in 17 acres of woodland, on a farm, in rural Herefordshire UK; it's in a convenient location for most of the country, being fairly central, not too far from the M50, and close to Wales, it makes a great meeting point for anyone coming from the north or the south. We have hosted retreats with guests coming from as far as Cornwall, Brighton and Kent to the South, and North Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, and Cumbria to the North.

It makes a great space for yoga/well-being/meditative/nature/forest bathing retreats, and is ideal for arts and crafts activities too. (We host a successful Craft Weekend retreat twice a year). Set in a peaceful woodland, full of birdsong, and wildflowers; we have accommodation in yurts, a large bell tent, and a tipi, for up to 40 people, with the option of bringing your own tents or camper vans too, (max 50 staying on-site). Plus a large marquee that can seat up to 100.

We pride ourselves on our fantastic facilities, which include 2 wood fired hot tubs, 9 hot showers, flushing and composting toilets, 2 fully equipped open fronted kitchens, 2 wood fired pizza ovens, covered seating areas, and woodburning stoves in all the tents.

Groups can book half the site & marquee, comprising 2 yurts, 1 bell tent, & 1 tipi, which sleeps 12- 20 people, or the whole site, comprising 5 yurts, 2 bell tents, & 1 tipi, sleeping up to 40.

Each tent has one king size bed, and several single mattresses.

Bathrooms

Each tent has its own shower, and toilet (mostly composting plus 2 flush toilets).
There is also a bath.

2 communal open fronted kitchens, containing everything you need, including a fridge per tent.

Things To Do Nearby

The river Wye is a mile and a half away, for canoeing, paddle boarding, fishing, paddling, and walking.
Plenty of walks in the area.
The Forest of Dean is not far, with many activities on offer.
