Nestled in the heart of the Peak District, our retreat centre offers 30 rooms accommodating up to 74 guests, with a mix of ensuite and non-ensuite options. Designed for rest, reflection, and connection, the centre provides two versatile group spaces: a large hall for up to 80 people and a smaller, intimate room for up to 30. Step outside to rolling hills and scenic walks, or linger in our peaceful grounds, where quiet corners and beautifully maintained flower borders invite contemplation and calm.
Our remote location and total absence of noise pollution make the centre ideal for silent retreats, offering a true sanctuary from the demands of everyday life. We also welcome a wide range of groups—from choirs and textile or art retreats to LGBTQ+ communities—who take sole use of the centre, transforming it into a safe, restorative space for their stay.
We cater to all dietary requirements, tailoring menus to suit each group’s needs. Our attentive, respectful staff are always on hand to support guests, ensuring every visit is comfortable, inclusive, and nourishing.
With tranquil surroundings, flexible facilities, and a welcoming atmosphere, our centre provides the perfect setting to relax, recharge, and reconnect with yourself and others, making every retreat a memorable and restorative experience.
BedroomsWe have a mix of single and multiple occupancy non en suite rooms and also a mix of single and multiple occupancy en suite rooms. There is also the dorm room which sleeps 10 people in bunk beds.
BathroomsAll rooms using shared facilities will have use of a single shower and toilet in individual cubicles and toilets.
CleaningAll cleaning and laundry services are included in the nightly rate. Rooms will be deep cleaned with beds made up and towels provided.
CateringWe offer 3 options, fully catered, half board or bed and breakfast and all allergies and diets are catered for.
Kitchen and Dining roomThe kitchen is run by centre staff where they will create and serve all your meals, you will be situated in the dining room that can seat up to 74 people across multiple tables.
OutdoorThere are gardens front and back of the centre with break out space, benches and also a playing field.

The spa town of Buxton is located 9miles away where you will find ample shops and coffee shops and is home to Buxton Water. Access to taxis - recommended to book in advance

Hope Train station with links from Manchester and Sheffield is 4.2 miles away. You will then need to arrange for a taxi to bring you to the centre (booking in advance in highly recommended).
