Yoga/Seminar room

We have a yurt which is 30m² with rugs on the floor, a large south facing terrace and a summer kitchen for making teas etc and facilities.
There is also a large indoor area of 41m² with underfloor heating and wood burning stove, also with kitchen and bathroom facilities and amazing views. With over 50 hectares of private land, there are also options outside for alfresco yoga.

Eco practices

We do not allow any chemicals on site as we are an ecological farm with a sensitive reed bed septic system. We have bees here and are very strict about not using pesticides in our organic garden to not harm the bees, us, any animals on site or the environment. We compost all food waste or feed it to the chickens/pigs. We always recycle and are planning on investing in solar energy.

Description

La Taillede is a family-run ecological farm and yoga venue France located between the high mountains of the Haut Vallespir and the coast of the Mediterranean. Ideal for smaller groups wanting very comfortable accommodation, peace and fresh mountain air. We are a 15 minute walk down a rural track from the quaint, traditionally French mountain village of Corsavy. Remote Pyrenean Mountain Farm yoga venue France have many friendly animals and an organic vegetable garden.

We have 4 beautiful and spacious gites (self contained holiday accommodation) which we have lovingly built ourselves, using wood from our own forest.
- We can accommodate 15 people but suggest 11 guests plus the instructor and another team member would be the optimum number for yoga in the yurt.
- There are 2 wood -heated hot tubs, a sauna with cold plunge pool, outdoor swimming pool, various hidden hammock spots in the forest and by the yurt, a choice of outside and inside dining areas plus fire pit for sociable evenings around the fire.
- This area is a popular for hiking (the Trans-Pyrenean GR10 hiking route passes close to the farm), and we can suggest many walks to suit the group and provide maps and detailed descriptions.
- Vegetarian/vegan catering possibilities are available on site using our own organic produce whenever possible. If you want to bring your own chef, that is also not a problem. There are 4 fully equipped kitchens available for your use.
-All rooms (except one which is a double) can be either singles or doubles. 2 of the rooms share a bathroom, the rest are ensuite.

Bedrooms

There are 7 bedrooms available for participants and a further 2 bedrooms for retreat leaders & chef.
6 of the 7 guest bedrooms can be made up as singles or doubles. P

Bathrooms

2 bedrooms share a bathroom, with twin wash basins. All the rest are ensuites. All bathrooms have large modern showers and have been built in the last 4 years.

Catering

Healthy, fresh and delicious vegetarian/vegan catering is available for €50 per person per day.

Kitchen and Dining room

There are 4 fully equipped kitchens for your use, giving you a choice of dining areas. 2 of the dining rooms are large enough to seat 15 people, the other 2 kitchens are close to the largest terrace

Outdoor

There are 5 terraces for your use, a fire pit and 2 wood fired hot tubs. Various hammock spots & sun loungers.
