Description

Retreat Centre Monte Velho (MoVe) , located in south west Portugal (Carrapateira) in the middle of the Natural Park of Costa Vicentina

  • Our venue hosts exclusively retreat all year around

  • The venue is on top of a hill, facing the Ocean with magical sunset and nights full of stars. We rebuild it from an old ruin, and we open the doors 23 years ago!

  • We can host group from 10 to 57 participants. Either one big group in exclusive or 2 smaller groups sharing the week

  • We have a total of 16 suites and 1 dorm

  • We have 2 beautilful circular natural material-built Shalas with Ocean view, with cork floor and underfloor heating.- for practicing yoga, pilates, classes, tantra, Tao-chi, etc

  • We have an outdoor gazeboo with sunbathing area and a pool

  • Sound system is provided as well as yoga props, meditation chairs, mattresses…

  • We offer a nutritious plant base catering of 3 meals per day including organic veggies from our gardens

  • Faro Airport is located 1:10h away.- we can help organizing shuttles
