The former hermitage of San Juan has a shaded roof terrace 10 x 11m.. Spacious for up to 20 persons.
Overlooks virgin forest to the south, sunrise above mountains down the valley 10km away. Northwards the semi ruined monastery and church of El Convento. Stunning views every direction! Clean pure air often with eagles soaring high above. Reassuring smells of delicious food cooking below always.

Description
El Convento retreat centre Spain has been running yoga retreats and hiring the venue for 16 years. Ideal for yoga venue, meditation, shamanic, and all nature based retreats. Open from June to September. Situated in a National Nature reserve. Pure spring water and totally off grid.
A group size of 15 students is ideal. Plus teacher who comes free.
Accommodation 5 Casitas. Sleep 10 persons. Solar electricity. They come with bed bases, mattresses, pillows, duvets and sheets. 6 Bell Tents. 1 or 2 persons. 5 meters in diameter. Equipped with floor covering, mattress’s and bases, and all bedding.
Food. El Convento retreat centre Spain 's resident chef provides healthy, inspiring, vegetarian, cuisine, organic and locally sourced. We cater for gluten free, vegan and intolerance's. Coffee and teas available.

We can organize 2 day trips, one to the local spring fed river and the other to is to the world famous city Ronda.
Transfers. Malaga Airport is 70 minutes drive away from our local village of El Burgo (easily reached by coach).
