The Zome's vibrational qualities are known to expand awareness and deepen perceived reality from the moment you step inside. Built on a 64sqm octagonal platform, it's a truly sacred space for yoga, meditation, ceremony and gathering. Comfortably holding 20 mats/60–70 seated. Manduka mats, meditation chairs, cushions, blocks and full sound system included.

Eco practices

We use solar panels to produce energy.
We installed smart filter systems (for both gray and black water) in order to filter the water and recycle it all back to the land via the irrigation system.
All our kitchen and bathroom products are organic.
Planted new trees, flowers, herbs and plants over the land.

Description

Adamãe — Ground for Creation

There are places where the earth breathes differently, where light falls at an angle that makes everything feel sacred, and the silence runs deep enough to hear yourself think again. Adamãe is one of those places.

Carved into the protected wild of Costa Vicentina Natural Park in southern Portugal, Adamãe is a fully off-grid, self-sustaining boutique eco-retreat, born from 30 years of experience in Traditional Chinese Medicine and the art of holding transformative space. Every structure built with devotion. Every plant chosen with care.

Rolling hills dissolve into cork forests roamed by foxes, wildcats, otters and 200 bird species, one of Europe's last truly wild coastlines. Just 20 minutes from the surf beaches of Porto Covo, and under two hours from Lisbon.

Sacred Spaces include an octagonal Zome Temple shaped by sacred geometry, an outdoor Ceremonial & Dance Temple, a Sunset Deck beneath an huge pine, and a Healing Tent offering acupuncture, massage and more.

Accommodation is twelve gorgeous glamping tents nestled across the land, five larger tents with private balconies and hammocks, seven intimate twin tents — hosting up to 20 participants, with complimentary stays for facilitators.

Nourishment is important, offering 3 garden-to-table vegetarian meals per day with fish or meat optional during your stay.
All water is naturally filtered and returned to the land.

Beyond the retreat: hiking, surf lessons, horseback riding, music jams, and organic wine tasting in the area.

Bedrooms

Sleep under canvas in style. We host up to 20 guests across 12 beautifully decorated glamping tents — 5 spacious tents with private balconies, pergolas and hammocks, and 7 intimate tents for two. Each one carefully named, thoughtfully designed, and elevated to feel both wild and comfortable.

Bathrooms

Our shared bathroom and showers are stylishly designed while using highly sustainable off-grid solutions (4 showers & 4 toilets)
All the water used on the land, toilet and showers included, are filtered and recycled back to irrigate the
plants.
We provide organic soaps and shampoos.

Cleaning

We have a housekeeping team who are regularly cleaning the facilities onsite.
Our bathrooms and showers are cleaned several times a day, and hygiene sprays are available to ensure you feel cared for and comfortable throughout your stay.
Our glamping linens are cleaned once per week.

Catering

Nourishment is at the heart of everything here. Our spacious kitchen serves vibrant vegetarian meals for up to 20 guests, healthy, delicious, and made with love. Dietary needs are always accommodated, and a fish dinner option is available for your group. Food will be one of the highlights of your stay

Kitchen and Dining room

Our spacious kitchen has a unique window design that allows our guests to enjoy their meals outside as well as inside. It is equipped to accommodate up to 20 people and has a stylish bar from which the vegetarian meals are served. Our food will become one of the highlights of your experience with us, super healthy and delicious. We are also happy to accommodate dietary restrictions.

In the area you can enjoy hiking. Surfing. Horse riding. El Camino passes through. Local markets and villages. Local music jams in the area. Permaculture community.
At Adamãe hosts have access to the Arc Healing Tent, outdoor sundeck and music/ceremony dance stage.

Booking requires a non-refundable deposit. A second instalment is due before arrival, with the remaining balance paid on the day. A refundable security deposit is also required. Cancellations are only accepted within the agreed window. Minimum participant numbers apply regardless of actual attendance.
