We do not have a specific yoga area, but do have several common areas that guests use for group activities, including the lobby, terrace, and pool area. Group meals are typically served in the terrace area (which has seating for up to 26 people) and other activities are usually planned for the lobby and/or pool area.
Eco practices
We employ technologies that minimize our footprint, such as solar panels, recycling, local and biodegradable supplies, and smart sensors to reduce energy waste. At Villa Tayrona, we are conscientious employers, compensating our team's talent fairly and encouraging work-life balance. We're also careful consumers; nearly all of the decorations, furniture, art and supplies are made by Mexican hands.

Description
Tucked into lush gardens, Villa Tayrona is inspired by modern Mexican and Bali-style tropical luxury. The villa's unique, 9-bungalow layout creates balance between privacy and togetherness and is ideal for groups of up to 24 people.
A discreet property right in the middle of the village of Bucerías, Villa Tayrona is often described as an oasis. Our location makes us an wonderful option for groups wanting a true community experience, e.g. enjoying the local taco stands. The villa is just 7 blocks (walking distance) from Bucerias' gorgeous beach. By car, Bucerias is 25 minutes from the PVR International Airport. Both Puerto Vallarta and Sayulita are a 30-minute drive away.
Included in your stay is our 5-person team: a houseman/bartender, 3 housekeepers, and a maintenance person. Additionally, the property's owner, Elly, has a decade of experience organizing retreats and is here to help with travel planning, ensuring you pamper your guests from start to finish. Private chef, massages, gifts, airport transport and other services can be easily arranged. Personal or professional development retreats are ideal for our space, though we've also hosted yoga, art, and surf retreats.
Each bedroom has its own personality and special touches. Some have indoor-outdoor showers, others have direct access to the pool, and others have private terraces. Common areas include a professional kitchen, an outdoor bar, a large dining terrace, a spacious lobby, and the spectacular pool and gardens. Every nook was designed with intention, and filled with unique art from across the country.

Up to 24 guests can sleep here comfortably. The room arrangement is as follows:

Bathrooms
Each of the 9 bedrooms has a full ensuite bathroom, and 5 of these feature sexy indoor-outdoor showers. There are two half baths, an outdoor shower, and an additional full bathroom in the common area.
Cleaning
Daily cleaning of the common areas and room is included in our rental fee.
Catering
Our bartender/houseman is included in our rental fee. Chef services can be arranged at an additional, affordable cost. We provide a detailed menu and can cater to all dietary restrictions.
Kitchen and Dining room
Six of the 9 bedrooms have full kitchens, but there is also a large professional kitchen where the private chef works (service upon request). Our covered, outdoor terrace seats up to 26 people.
Outdoor
This space is all about the plants (and the gorgeous pool). We've designed the villa to encourage indoor-outdoor living, with spectacular gardens and private outdoor patios for each guest to enjoy.

Villa Tayrona is located in Bucerias, which is part of Mexico's Riviera Nayarit, where the jungle meets the ocean. We are just 7 blocks from a stunning beach that stretches many miles. Whale-watching, hiking, surfing, cultural tours, and cooking classes are popular activities. We can help set up massages, sound baths, salsa classes, Mariachi, and other activities right at the villa, too.

Booking Conditions
Our minimum stay is 4 nights (whole villa rental). Rental deposits are 50% refundable when canceled 180 days before arrival or earlier, but are non-refundable within 180 days of arrival.
