The Resort's bungalows are constructed entirely from renewable, locally-sourced materials. They are built in the traditional style from lightweight natural timber and thatched palm roofs. Raised from the ground, with deep shaded verandas and natural ventilation provided by windows and roof vents means the internal environment is perfectly comfortable, without the need for air conditioning.

Located in the Mergui Archipelago in Myanmar (Burma). Boulder Island is one of the westernmost islands in the archipelago. Within these remote water, lies a small island teeming with marine and terrestrial life.
Viewed from space the Mergui Archipelago appears exactly as it is. scattered islands stretching over 400 km along Myanmar's coast. With over 800 islands, one could get easily get lost exploring. However, with modern technology, such as satellite imagery, as well as accurate GPS, the Mergui Islands are quickly being mapped and navigated safely.
