Nestled in the heart of the Algarve, Quinta Sol d’Água is a traditional farm that offers an harmonious blend of tradition and nature.

Constructed in 1915, it was the starting point of the agrarian co-operative called “Quinta de Sinagoga”.
The place retains its inspiring power and in 1989, now restored, became the birthplace of the ‘Altanure’ project.

Located 6 km from the city and the sea, this peaceful retreat is rooted in permaculture and agro-ecology principles, with grounds untouched by chemicals since 1989. Surrounded by lily ponds and immersed in greenery, Quinta Sol d’Água invites you to step into an oasis of tranquility, perfect for yoga retreats and intimate escapes.

The property features four spacious bedrooms, three of which open to lush gardens. Each room has a private bathroom and showcases local materials and charming Portuguese decor. The living spaces, including a cozy family kitchen and a living room with a piano, exude warmth and authenticity. Outdoors, enjoy a shaded lounge under reeds and relax by the swimming pool, an old irrigation basin surrounded by a landscaped garden, lemon orchard, and a historic waterwell.
