The Seed Habitat — a wellness retreat center on Lake Atitlán, Guatemala — is hiring a Site Manager & Retreat Host starting summer 2026.
Our core business is hosting external retreat organizers who bring their own groups to use our space and team. Between bookings, we run our own Signature Retreats — three curated experiences (women's midlife, plant medicine integration, wellness reset) — which the candidate leads as facilitator in their strongest modality: yoga, meditation, or breathwork.
The role combines onsite retreat hosting, supervision of our local Guatemalan team, lead facilitation for in-house retreats, and oversight of vacation rentals between retreat bookings. The CEO handles the relationship layer with retreat leaders and all sales conversations; you are the onsite anchor who makes their experience flow.
This is year one of a deliberately staged role — lean base while we validate retreat volume, with a clear path to base salary + retreat fees + performance incentives in year two as the calendar fills. We're honest about this so the right candidate can make an informed decision.
Schedule: 25 hrs/week during retreat months, 20 hrs/week during quiet months. Private accommodation in San Marcos La Laguna provided. Bilingual Spanish + English required. Operational maturity and cultural sensitivity working with indigenous staff are non-negotiable.
