About the property

Situated in north Portugal, a cosy retreat center, 45 minutes from Porto airport. The ownwer is a therapist and do guided meditations. We will be happy to share our nice peacefull place.

The main stone room is 120 square meters, we have some cushions and carpets, and there is air conditionning.

Eco practices

We just renovated two stone houses, and have minimized electrical interference by using shielded cables and various protective measures on the electrical circuits. The Wi-Fi is turned on for a few hours a day if requested. The walls of the house, when not in stone, are made of hemp, the furniture is recycled, and garden has no chemical treatment.

Description

North Portugal, 45 minutes from Porto airport, and 30 minutes from a blessed place: Sao Bento da Porta Aberta. We offer a nice quiet place near a village, with 1 Ha garden. Peace and calm, a renovated stone house with 9 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, library, and a 140 square meters room for activities. Meals are in the owner's private house, mainly vegetarian, with some products of the garden. We attend small groups, from 5 to 12 people. The Wi-Fi is turned on for a few hours a day if requested. There is a tiny river in the garden. We may offer a Sacred Cacau ceremony if desired.

Bedrooms

There are 5 single bedrooms; one with private bathroom, 2 bedrooms with 2 queen size beds, and 2 bedrooms with one queen bed, one with private bathroom. There are 4 more bathrooms, and 2 extra toilets.

Most of the bathroomds are with shower, one is with a bath.

Cleaning

Cleaning is provided by our employee. During your stay, the bathrooms are cleaned daily. You are responsible for your rooms and making your own bed.

Catering

The cuisine is vegetarian, with vegan options available upon request, biological products when possible.

Kitchen and Dining room

The menus are provided by the owner, and 12 people can eat together easily in the dinning room.

Outdoor

There is a 1 ha garden with trees and flowers, and a tiny river in the center, wooden benches to receive you.

Things To Do Nearby

We are near Braga and Porto city, Fatima is 2h30 from us. National Geres park is just 30 minutes drive,the park is a great place to take a walk, swim in the waterfalls, and enjoy water sports on the lake. Northern Portugal is picturesque, with its old stone villages. The countryside is vibrant, and here lies the charming city of Guimarães, the country’s former capital.
