Outdoors - Riverside terrace, sheltered orchard & large lawn.
Indoors - The Orangery is 60m2, The Pavilion is split into a lower deck of 95m2 and an upper deck of 85m2, Golden Afternoon is 46m2.
We also have The Old Mill 176m2 and Bohemian Shed 109m2 indoor spaces available on the grounds should they be required.

The Millhouse, Slane retreat venue Ireland is just 40 mins from Dublin, a Georgian Manor House built in 1766, combines old world charm and contemporary design to create a very unique, luxury venue. Each bedroom in The Millhouse is individually styled and decorated; four-poster beds, free-standing baths, rich silks and velvets, luxuriously comfortable settees, soft lighting and big log fires all create a truly comfortable home.
Lying on the banks of the stunning River Boyne, in the heart of Ireland’s Ancient East, The Millhouse offers a peaceful and indulgent escape within walking distance of the historic Slane Village . The Millhouse lies in the heart of Co Meath's tourist trail and has a wealth of tourist attractions and visitor experiences including award winning Gastro Pubs and restaurants within a 20 minute drive of the venue.
Set in idyllic surroundings, The Millhouse retreat venue is an extremely adaptable property with 3 drawing rooms, 2 snugs, an Orangery, a large Pavilion function room and our south-facing sun-trapped courtyard and river terrace and orchard which are perfect for sunny days.
The Mill Wood on the grounds of The Millhouse is a mature woodland which guests are welcome to explore along with the riverside walks in the area.
Relax and unwind outdoors on our spa terrace which is home to our cold plunge and sauna. Allow any stress melt away in our beautiful wood sauna followed by a refreshing plunge, all while enjoying the fresh air and stunning views of the River Boyne.

Bathrooms
All bedrooms are en-suite complete with a shower. Some rooms have a bath and others have a bath and shower combined. Public toilets available in the main house, the Orchard and the Pavilion.
Cleaning
There will be daily cleaning of the Private Hotel. Any spoilage above normal wear and tear will incur a cleaning fee.

We have a fully equipped kitchen team and can tailor make your menu to suit your group.
Kitchen and Dining room
There are 3 main dining areas in the cottage wing, two suitable for smaller groups and for larger groups the Orangery. We also have the Pavilion and 3 large drawing rooms with a fully serviced bar.
Outdoor
Sauna and Cold Plunge Terrace, Mill Wood forest, mature apple tree Orchard, riverside Terrace, Sun soaked courtyard with outdoor tables and chairs. Watersports - Kayaks / Canoes can be hired locally.
