Nestled on an Umbrian mountainside, this lovingly restored 15th century hamlet is your perfect getaway for blissful tranquility. Offers magnificent workshop space & salt water pool.
Monestevole offers a beautiful, glass-fronted workshop space, with bamboo floor. The space is heated by pellet & wood stoves, and comfortably fits up to 18 people for yoga practice. We offer a supply of yoga mats, blocks, straps and blankets.
You can also enjoy outdoor sessions in our large, peaceful gardens. First and second floor lounge & dining areas can also be used for class time.
Sustainable technologies are part of daily life here. Our energy comes from photovoltaic solar panels, our water is heated by thermal solar, we harvest rain water to irrigate the fields and flush the toilets and we recycle gray-black water in our living filtration system. Our pool is cleaned with salt. In the winter, our heating is powered by a wood-burning stove. We grow much of our own food.
Perched on a ridge on over 45 hectares of stunning Umbrian countryside, this 15th century hamlet has been thoughtfully and lovingly transformed. Passing through many hands over the years - including over fifty residents at one time - the hamlet was abandoned in the 1960s and resurrected in 2013.
Celebrating and preserving the best of traditional Umbrian living and providing a beautiful, rejuvenating and inspiring experience, the house and its 8 bedrooms are designed with stylish simplicity, each restored with original historic stone, wood beamed features and simple, rustic design.
