The 20 mt x 8 mt Shala has proved to be the ideal spot for outdoor practices such as yoga, Biodance, Tai Chi and other Energy work. A bamboo shade protects you from the sun and its location is wind free, the ideal spot to deepen your practice whilst overlooking the serene landscape and listening to the birds. There are yoga mats and cushions available for practitioner
Eco practices
We are off the grid and run entirely on solar energy, providing our guests with solar heated hot water, use environmentally friendly cleaning products, produce a great variety of fruit and vegetables in our biological gardens which we prepare in the Quinta kitchen and of course we separate our waste. We buy and employ locally as much as possible. Call us a "Green Leader" if you like!

Description
"Paradise in Portugal" is a retreat or yoga venue Portugal with 10 bedroomed oasis overlooking Europe's cleanest mosquito-free lake.
We can comfortably sleep 16 individuals in 5 twin rooms and 4 single rooms with an extra twin room available for the retreat Leader. All rooms are en-suite and all have a wonderful and calming view across the gardens to the lake.
It is ecologically sound and solar-run, (not that you'd know it), neighbour-free - not a whiff of planes, trains or automobiles - and renowned for its privacy, peace and quiet.
We cater for all tastes and have a great deal of experience in providing vegetarian, macrobiotic and vegan food as well as tasty home cooked meals for individuals or groups.
Canoes, rowing boats and SUPs are included free of charge in any stay, and there's also a wood-fired sauna close to the water's edge, with Shiatsu Massage available on site too. We also offer guided Nature walks where we invite you to connect with the land and its flora and fauna with our experienced and world-renowned Guides.
The rising demand for Retreats has meant that our 160 sq. mt. Shala is in much demand by Retreat Organizers who would like to really have a Retreat in Paradise.
We've enjoyed hosting Yoga Venue Portugal and Holistic Retreats in the past as well as many Nature and Art orientated retreats too, and look forward to welcoming more groups in the coming years.

Bedrooms
We have 2 triple rooms with a double bed and an extra bed each as well as 4 normal double rooms and 1 twin.
Further we have 2 family suites. One sleeps 4 and one sleeps 6.
All our rooms are en-suite.
Bathrooms
All our bathrooms have a bathtub as well as a shower. They are spacious and designed with local materials. The piping hot water is pumped, cleaned and heated by the sun.
Cleaning
All rooms are cleaned on a daily base and there is also a laundry service at a small nominal charge.
Catering
Our meals are prepared fresh every day with many local ingredients and are served in a professional but homely atmosphere. On request we cater for all diets including vegan and vegetarian etc.
Kitchen and Dining room
The dining room can comfortably sit 25 people and has amazing views through its infinity window. The furnishings are a gentle mix of English and Portuguese antiques.
Outdoor
We have many facilities here at the Quinta which all can be used by our guests for free. Table football, table tennis, sauna, canoes, SUPs, rowing boats, sun chairs, sun deck, library and games.

Group Booking Conditions:
A deposit of 20% of the accommodation is required to confirm any reservation in order to secure space. Cancellations forfeit this deposit.
Balance of payment (80%) due with full rooming list 6 week prior arrival.
