Essence Arenal, retreat center in Costa Rica, is located in El Castillo, close to the Arenal Volcano and Lake Arenal area, Costa Rica.

El Castillo is a small neighboring village to La Fortuna, directly on Lake Arenal atop the hills overlooking Arenal volcano. With 22 hectares of prime hilltop forested pristine land and breathtaking views, the retreat center takes pride in giving their guests an experience of a lifetime.

This retreat center in Costa Rica counts with trails in the jungle and a permaculture organic farm that produces vegetables and medicinal plants for the farm to table vegan and vegetarian restaurant. We count with an Spa with a sauna, a steam room with aromatherapy and a jacuzzi. We also provide an space for a temazcal ceremonies or cacao ceremonies. The yoga deck can fit 15 people. We offer different kind of therapies, massages, sound healing, reiki, ionic detox, we also offer tours in the property like morning birdwatching tour, permaculture and chocolate workshop tour and jungle night tour etc. We had different retreat groups, like breathworking, yoga retreats, meditation retreats, wellness retreats, company retreats, etc. We can accommodate up to 30 people.
