Gathering space to choose from includes a large outdoor circle among towering mango trees, a tiled rooftop patio with mountain view and the handcrafted stone and iron communal building.
Eco practices
A stocked kitchen eliminates the need for single use plastics. We truck any plastic or metal recycling to a nearby facility. All of our grey water deposits on the orchard, so our soaps are all biodegradable and earth friendly. Additionally, the water is put to a second use. We have two no-electric, no-water compost toilets and several solar powered lights.

Description
Nestled in an orchard valley in the mountains of Baja Sur, this unique location is home to towering mango, avocado and citrus trees, guava, plaintains and ancient bamboo. Four comfortable glamping tents and three indoor accommodations comfortably sleep 16 persons. A rooftop deck provides a sunrise experience for yoga or nighttime stargazing. A handcrafted stone and artisanal ironwork communal building is available for guest use, and well appointed with cooking supplies.
Our pool is also handcrafted with local stone, and filled with water that comes from a nearby natural spring. The rocks are very powerful here, with giant boulders dotting the landscape and comprising our architecture. We are in a tiny Mexican pueblo known for the spring, and for regional sweets and empanadas. A waterfall is a short walk away. The arroyo is home to a year-round stream, wandering cow, horses and goats. Birdsong flutters through the towering canopy of trees all day.
Our rooms fit two people each, and are well-appointed with comfortable bedding, plush towels and robes. Additionally, we provide toiletries and pool towels. All have a fan, and most have air conditioning. Buen Provecho offers a unique and powerful reconnection with nature while providing nurturing comfort for guests. There is a large circular opening in the grandaddy mango trees that is used for group activities, as well as plenty of space on the tiled rooftop patio. Additionally, with 5 acres (roughly 2 hectares) of well-maintained, park-like fruit forest, there is plenty of space for solitude and reflection as well.
Bedrooms
We have eight sleeping locations total, three indoor and five glamping tents. Of these, five locations have two twin beds, three have a queen sized bed and fold out couch or cot.
Bathrooms
The apt has a bathroom en suite. We have an outdoor stone shower/flush toilet/sink and an indoor stone shower/compost toilet/copper sink. The orchard baño has a compost toilet and solid stone sink.
Cleaning
Staff will maintain bathrooms during your stay. Guests are responsible for cleaning after themselves in the kitchen and sleeping areas. We can run personal loads of laundry on request.
Catering
We can provide contact for chefs to work with your group.
Kitchen and Dining room
A complete, industrial kitchen is available for guest use. Refrigerator, two stoves, two large sinks, all pots/pans/dishes/utensils and basic cooking needs such as spices and oils are provided.
Outdoor
We are a 5 acre mature fruit orchard, maintained as a park-like setting. We have a large spring-fed, stone pool and comfortable seating. There are many spots in the orchard to gather or be alone.
Things To Do Nearby
We are in the mountains of Baja, but 15 minutes from the beaches and activities of the East Cape. Out our back gate, guests can hike out to a waterfall, or to the natural spring. A short drive in all directions are the cultural centers of La Paz, Todos Santos and El Triunfo, or to deeper mountain experiences. Horseback riding is available. Local tiendas sell regional sweets and empanadas.
