This luxury retreat centre in Kerala, India, is good for group retreats (yoga, Ayurveda, rejuvenation). There are 15 double rooms, so the retreat is peaceful, surrounded by coconut trees and overlooking the Arabian Sea. We have a clinic with doctors and Ayurveda therapists where we perform various programs. Most clients are groups who practice yoga every morning with our master from Sivananda Ashram, followed by individually prepared treatment programs by our doctor tailored to each client's needs. A dietologist prepares the food chart for each client.

Our sea-view restaurant serves vegetarian/Ayurvedic meals, no alcohol, and gluten-free meals. There is a pool for those who desire to swim or refresh. In addition to groups, individuals and families also visit Ananda Lakshmi. The unique aspect of our retreat centre in Kerala, is that for groups of at least 20 people, we offer the entire place to them, making the group feel like they are in a big house or community of their own.

There are many beaches and backwaters in the vicinity, easily accessible by walk or rickshaw. For those interested in culture, many temples can be visited nearby. For those who enjoy excursions, there are tea plantations, lakes, and hills surrounding the area.

I am based in this place I built 15 years ago and coordinate operations and client relations. I am Italian, and all workers are locals. We have good water throughout the whole property, maintaining cleanliness and high standards of hygiene, recycling wastewater for irrigation of our plants, and turning waste food into biogas for kitchen needs.
