Possessing a strong background in organic/regenerative farming and herbalism, I integrate healing foods that nourish the body as well as honor the earth. I am a plant-based chef, and I have been a vegetarian/vegan for 35 years. My love for growing, foraging, and preparing medicinal and delicious foods has lead me to diverse kitchens, jungles, forests, beaches, and retreat centers all over the Americas, and I am excited for the adventure to continue. I am bilingual in English and Spanish, as well as half-Panamanian, and I would love the opportunity to continue sharing my gifts and passion with others in this meaningful way.

With much pleasure I create plant-based, nutrient-dense meals and menus for private retreats, events, gatherings, and accommodate personal preferences and intolerances.
I’m Based In:
I am based in the United States and Panama. I have a small catering company named Cocina Flora in the Black Hills of South Dakota, and I have dual citizenship in Panama where I visit regularly.
I Can Travel To:
My heart is definitely in Latin America, and I travel/live there frequently. However, I am open to new experiences on other continents to experience countries and cultures I never have as well!
What Inspires Me:
Diversity, beauty, resilience, kindness, colors, shining brightly, following one's heart, adventure, critical thinking, healing, openness, curiosity, compassion, and generosity all inspire me.
My Favourite Book:
Ever since childhood I have always loved The Giver. I love the notion of being so open to new experiences that even a child living in a world without color or much choice could discover Truth.

The Andes and Amazon of Ecuador, and the Osa Peninsula of Costa Rica
